SH CHAUVENIST (DWD Tabasco x Shad-E Lady by Zironek) left us at 2:00 in the morning on a cold January morning in France. He died near his favorite mare, Voliska (Warandes Plakat x Volga El Maklouf)
CHAUVENIST was a powerful stallion with an exceptional character. As a sire, he gave all his descendants his docile nature. Thinking back, I remember trusting him with my three-year-old son. He was always attentive, very cuddly. What he loved most was dry French bread.
His coat was like a beautiful dress - a rare dark berry - and he had a large and abundant black mane. CHAUVENIST was foaled on April 19, 1985, at Ken and Charlene ROBINSON’s Sweet Home Arabians. During on of my travels the States, I saw his sire DWD TABASCO, and grandsire TRADITION, in Iowa. I immediately wanted to buy a son of DWD TABASCO, and Charlene ROBONSON kindly sold me SH CHAUVENIST. Since that day I have remained friends with the Robinson family.
Since the day CHAUVENIST died, the stud is like a total vacuum. He brought us 17 years of happiness - from the very first day when he arrived at the airport in Amsterdam and we brought him to France.
SH CHAUVENIST was a wonderful sire, and he proved this in his outstanding progeny including his youngest son SHEMAN (x Voliska by Warandes Plakat).
